From humble beginnings in 1985, Footwear Trading Pty Ltd has established itself as one of the largest, privately owned, multi-divisional footwear and apparel distributors in Southern Africa.

We specialize in the marketing and distribution of famous international and local footwear and apparel brands. Our company has a well established and functional network of international design and sourcing facilities in Asia, Europe and South Africa, for our licensed products. Each brand has a separate management and sales team. This enables us to keep the identity of each brand unique and special. We believe in formulating individual brand identities through analyzing each brand and market respectively and implementing product design and marketing strategies accordingly.

We create the emotional bond between the brands we sell and the consumers who buy them. We create desired brand image in the mind of all our stakeholders. A dedicated merchandising team ensures that our products and brands are always placed in strategic positions within stores.

Being privately owned and managed on a day to day basis with our executive team on hand, we are able to make fast decisions without the restraints that exist in most corporations. Footwear Trading has won international "Distributor of the Year" awards from Diesel, Skechers and Fila. Respective management and sales teams for each brand operate nationally with our focus in the four major South African centres being Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Eastern Cape.
